Living well to the end of life
from frailty to resilience

Welcome to Compassionate Communities

Compassionate Communities North West is committed to changing attitude and behaviour towards life, age,  death and loss through raising awareness and education in partnership with individuals, communities and organisations.

End of life care and death and dying are a social as well as a medical issue.  A Compassionate Community is one where individuals and families are supported throughout life (including at the end of life) for issues related to age, disability, illness or bereavement.

Our aim

To support us all to live well within our communities to the very end of our lives.
